This makes me so sad, and feel bad, that gasoline is $.53 per liter higher in Victoria than Edmonton. Hardly seems fair. But, they could switch to electric cars I suppose. Much cleaner. Certainly cleaner than the raw sewage being dumped in the ocean.

$5.00 a liter would be better, looks good on those Hippocrates. :sHa_sarcasticlol:

I feel bad for the normal people of BC to get lumped in with all those better than everyone else Vancouverites.

That's crazy, but good on there gov't. Maybe they should take some of the pot sales to subsidize the fuel. :bad_boys_20:

Just think what the price might be if there was a pipeline and a refinery in BC.

I don't feel sorry for them one little bit.

Funny how the LNG pipeline can go ahead and not the other. I guess they are waiting for us to offer them a % of profits. Same with Quebec, if they were offered a % of profits I would bet they would be all for the east pipe line. Hell, it probably would be in the ground by now.

Here's a thought, on April first make that offer to both, and lets see what they say. Then tell them a few days later that it was a April fools.

Damn straight. I hope it goes to $5 a litre. I hope the incoming AB gov't shuts the taps off. This is a two way street. Screw em.

They protest pipelines while dumping untreated sewage into the ocean, I can't feel the slightest bit sorry for them. Hoping a new premier will shut off the taps, and the price will rise to $5.

I think if you check the existing pipeline feeds a refinery in both BC and Washington. Because it feeds the States as well it may make it somewhat harder to shut it down completely.

On a bigger note, gas in Montana apparently 1.77 a US GALLON. Even after exchange, a way better deal than we're getting. We're all getting screwed.

When we give our Western Select oil away to Americans at $10 barrel then they get gas for 50 cents a liter. Boy are we being srewed! Just think BC greens are paying $1.00 more per liter than people in Montana. What a world.

There is a refinery in BC, its located in Burnaby and operated by Parkland, an Alberta company.
