It seems like every year there is a sticky posted up for archery shoots. and every couple of weeks I peruse the sticky looking for shoots within hours of Cowtown. Lots of shoots listed for Red Deer and North.
Reluctantly, I close down the sticky not being satisfied. I really miss the Calgary Archers range on Hwy 8 - being a member there allowed lots of practice and notice of upcoming shoots (every month throughout the summer). Now trying to find a shoot anywhere in Southern Alberta seems like a chore, especially getting the information weeks ahead of time in order to plan for a camping / shooting trip.
Anyone have inside information or a link to these kind of events? I attended the SABA shoot years ago and sadly haven't been back to another but would love to attend again.
