Poles are always moving and even switch regularly. We are overdue for a switch which based on this info seems like it might be happening now(and for quite a few years by the sounds of it).

Sientists admit, our magnetic fiel is getting weaker. It is weaker more then 10% since it was discovered. For me lt means, more then 10% of solar energy is going thru the shield and is making the Earth warmer. It is sun not our farting responsible for climate change. Keep it to yourself, magnetic pole is in Canada and we maybe taxed for it.

Most Scout groups still teach that. I’m a scouter west of Edmonton and we teach our Scouts all the basics. Was actually just out with them earlier this week, -21C windchill, in the dark, learning more orienteering skills at a lake. Most larger Scout camps that I’ve been too have had some sort of orienteering activity as one of their planned activities.

I just bought 2 new silva compasses for my grandsons,one picked up on it fast the other I need time alone with,but he is only ten and spends more time being upset his older bro learnt it faster.
I also have a few gps kicken around,but I just wanted them to learn not to trust anything with batteries,easier to learn on with the gps.

It is a stupid title to get views... Article says the model used with all the technology that uses compasses is being delayed because of government shutdown. By a whopping 15 days...

I wonder if they have everything figured out for when the poles have switched or are switching. I imagine it is going to mess with a few things pretty good when all the compasses are saying north is actually east, west or south of where you are.
