It’s two halls, 600 tables I think? I don’t know what you’re looking for. I walk slowly and make the most of it.

I usually go to look around. Prices usually quite steep and mostly the same vendors every time. Some good deals if you can find them.

If you consider it a nice outing, like looking at guns, reloading etc gear, and have a friend to go with, it is quite fun. If you are looking for good to great deals, save your gas.

Thorncliff show is pretty cheap and the parking is free, it is also a lot smaller, 500 vs 1000 tables. The big Calgary show at the fair grounds has way more stuff. I went to both every year when I lived in Calgary. Big show, parking is going to cost you near $20 and entry is another 15 or 20.

Thanks for the advice. Just got here and it was worth the drive. Easy way to hide from the wife for the day.

Actually, there were only 210 tables today ...as there are most years.

I found it generally, same old same old , but hey it's still a gun show.

Said Hi to WWbirds .

Son picked up 3 hard to find mags for 1930's era 22

Weather was/is good +5 or so , so a little bit of a walk was not only not an issue , but actually enjoyed .

Parking in the main lot fills up fast , even though it's a big parking lot , but fills up faster when you get the ( insert nasty work of your choice here ) that don't give a crap how they park , or think that they are worthy or 2 spots .

And only 5 bucks .

You have to fill us in on the show and what you actually bought, or not!:) Living Vicariously through the travels of others!

Good times, lots of stuff to look at and buy. For 5$ it is worth it, you can always make an offer, just because there is a price tag does not mean seller will turn down a reasonable offer. Vendors are there to sell stuff not to split ticket sales.

Got myself some 7mm woodleigh bullets and some norma cases for 7x64, a katz mini axe with holster and belt loop...kid got a bunch of stickers, patches and badges handed to him by vendors.

I had people offering me deals today when I didn't ask for one. It was an expensive day. I went to see what little things there were in there, maybe some primers, walked out with a mould, gaschecks and a shotgun. There were some decent prices on some stuff there.
