New law in the Castle

My friend was Talking to a couple of guys on snowmobiles yesterday up at the ski hill. They said they were stopped in the South Castle by the co's to tell as of Jan 1 there is a new law that forbids you to go off the trail until you get to BC.
Has anyone on here heard of this? Did they sneak another restriction in on us?

I don't believe it is a "new" law. Believe you have been supposed to stick to the trails and random ride areas since the new management plan was put in place.
