Few more House Questions

Found a house we are very interested in (sorry for all the recent posts).

Just had a couple more questions, I'd like some opinions on.

Home inspections, anyone have someone they would really recommend, someone they think did a very good job and they were satisfied with?

Also, the house will need shingles, what would be the rough estimate on a 1200 square foot bilevel, built in 1973, so pretty straight forward roof?
Also, should I go with the standard asphalt shingles or go with the fiberglass?

I haven't had to re-roof in a while but I think you are upwards of $8000. Just my best guess.

A 1200 ft home could have 1500 sq ft of roof
My asphalt reroof two years ago was $3.50 FT SQ,
Price will depend on the economy and the amount of hail/wind damage claims in your area

They do, but they're pretty crappy to the point they need a waterproof underlay and never seem to last the quoted span. Good luck with warranty.
