Trying to get my draws in, this year a bit late in the game but still in time.
Anyways, when clicking "purchase draw application", it says CANNOT FIND SERVER
Is anyone else experiencing similar problems?

I did ours yesterday afternoon and the site seemed to be working fine then.

Did mine last week with no problems. The only issue is the limit of 4 draws and then you have to log off and back on if you are putting in for more than 4. The system might just be overwelmed given this is the last week to put in.

Don't say that! :( I'm late as usual... Remember last year I was working on it around midnight, when it was apparently not so busy.

With some sites, I find I have to close the browser session and open a new one to get around issues like that...
I'm late on the draws this year too... Eep! :ashamed:

Are you trying to access Albertarealm from a work computer? I know that I am unable to access the site from work. At home the Albertarealm works great.

Just got them all done (from work, and I worked fine), just not yet for the kids, but those buggers don't want to hunt anyway. :-( Their loss.
Antlered (likely) and antlerless mule deer ("sure" thing), goat and bison, 999-ed everything else. I figure I'd save my non-trophy sheep for next year, when I can't hunt rams (jinx!), and I'd take one more year of priorities on antelope (both sexes), and try for a hunt for both next year (EDIT: if I had checked the regs I would have realized that won't work, you can hold only one antelope license per year). I'm back down to zero on antlered elk, and figured I need to plan ahead for a big moose hunt next year, or 2011.
The plan is to go hard for a ram, and then enjoy November in the badlands chasing deer.
Ideally, I'll be heading deep into the mountains to hunt goat!
Hope springs eternal!

You don't have to log off and come back on. You can only purchase 4 at a time but then you just purchase your next four in a separate transaction... but you don't need to log off, just keep going after you have paid for your four. It remembers your card number, etc.

Ya, it works pretty slick...we did all ours last night!

Whew, got mine done tonight. No problems at all, except for the time I had to stop the page load and refresh when my initial draws page slowed to a crawl... Otherwise, everything's 100%!
Last day to put in for draws......
Thrusday, June 25th!

I did mine the first day so it worked fine no problem. Since its the dead line is coming up fairly quickly I would just do it over the phone its quick&easy and no failures. (unless you hit the wrong button!)

Ooh, she really bogged down now! I thought I'd give those reluctant kids another couple of priorities for mule buck, antlered moose, elk, sheep, antelope, just in case they ever want to take up hunting. Of course I forgot their passwords, so I had to wake the wife to get the Health Card numbers. Got one kid changed over to a new password, and am trying to get the second one done. Been running for 15 minutes without result. Boy am I glad I did mine yesterday.

Aha! You guys are the reason the website was so slow tonight. Procrastinators!
It's 1:15am and finally the website is at normal speed again. I imagine anyone on dial-up will have had a heck of a time tonight. All in all, it was better than what we've been hearing about the line-ups at CT. Go to bed, Jamie! ;)

Slowed to a crawl last night so I quit. At 6:00 this morning it was lightning fast.

Those servers were pinned to the max last night. Hope IBM's got them in a nice cool room.
5:30am this morning, no problem.

Did my son's this morning, zipped right through. Lost my daughter's password, so I need her driving license number. She'll probably get that to me when everything has slowed right down again. :-(

Frans, I also do all the draws for our group.
I changed the passwords to exactly the same one.
It made it much easier to deal with
Good luck

i did mine over the phone last week, all went well (i thot)...and just for kicks i double checked the 'current draw status' on the relm site....it didnt show my trophy antelope as being last entered in 2008...all other entries showed 2009
PANIC MODE!
slooower than heck. over a hour to enter the antelope draw...then it pops up 'cannot accept action at this time''' try again
nothing arrrgh!
i sure wish we could buy a 5 year packet for (5 x $3.65?= $18.25) draws for a single species. then the only annual adjustment would be to change a wmu or 999 it.
-even if your drawn at two years into it, you still have three years credit to go again
-less line ups at the vendors

We're an interesting group. The draw book can't come soon enough, then we wait to the last day to submit our draws. At least that seems to be how I do it.

I know the draw people complain about the "feeding frenzie" of all the last minute applicants.
Here is an idea for them. Anyone who does their draws in the first week, get their "WIN" entered into a draw for ONE Priority point for Antlered Moose.
I didn't wait till the last day as I sometimes do, I did them two nights ago.
