does anyone have any experience with Oneida bows? they seem to be marketed mostly to bowfishers. how would they work for big game. also would they be good for finger shooting?

I’ve been looking a them a bit too. I haven’t shot one but I hear the draw is super smooth and you can fix them in the field without a bow press. Downside is the limbs move a long distance when they fire and that sounds like a pain in a tree stand or ground blind.

Ted Nugent used one for years.

I believe Tim Wells (relentless pursuit)is shooting an Oneida now, I think he is a finger shooter.
I don’t know much about The bows myself, they do look way different, it would be interesting to shoot one just to see what it’s like. I think they are a pretty expensive bow as well

Price not as high as I thought the price on their site for the Phoenix model $1215.00 -$1495.00. In US $

Funny, I was gassing up at Costco today and the truck in front of me had an Oneida sticker on it. I asked the guy if he shoots one and he has for years, sounds like he loves them but...he also said most new compounds are better than an Oneida.

A guy at the range the other day was shooting an RPM bow, which seems to be an Oneida knock off.
