Has anyone been into Seibert lately? Wondering about access for this week... Did a winter road get plowed up that way this year? Is snowmobile access still good? Or should I be loading up the quad instead?
Not concerned about the lake itself... I know there will be 3ft of good ice still. Just wondering how far I can plan on going with the truck before I need to offload... and what off-road vehicle i should be offloading.

I posted almost the exact same thing last week and no responses. I'm heading there tomorrow. Taking a quad just in case.

Was at Blackett and Kinnard on weekend. Trail in was starting to get soft but we had no issues. The lake had hardly no snow . Good ice most places some ice was starting to rott . Fishing was good . Just be careful . Sorry we didn’t make it to siebert.

Had friends at Pinehurst on Saturday and very little or no snow, so quad is fine on the lake, I am sure Siebert is the same, if that helps.

Is there any snow at all? Can I still run a sled up there?

Not much snow left for sled up in the Lakeland. Ice is starting to soften with all of the water from snow melt. Quad or SxS only I would suggest.

Went to into Lakeland Tuesday and Wednesday. Drove on with a truck. Ice looks sketchy but there was 2ft of good ice all across the lake, couple soft spots.

The Siebert lake road was fine, if trying to access Pinehurst from mud bay , Use an atv.

I had a good set of tires and a lift kit and barely made it. the road has a foot deep of grease on it and the shoulders are falling away, if you don't stay in the ruts, you may have to leave your truck. the road is not for the faint of heart. I normally wouldn't bother posting if I didn't think the road was bad, this was the worst spring I've seen it (last 5or 6 years). Stock tires or running boards will end your trip

Fishing was alright. Caught some walleye for the tags. No perch and Pike was poor. Only hammer handles.

Bring a chain saw and you'd probably be okay

Cannot run a sled on the road, you might be okay on the lake with scratchers.....quad is likely the only option now

So the road into seibert campground is ok though? No issues pulling a trailer through ?

That road to siebert is a lot of sand. I remember going into the lake during a good rain. Was surprised it was still decent. Sand<mud.
