Turkey season starts this Sat. Didn't know if I was gonna be able to hunt
with my bow this year. I dropped the weight down from 64lbs to 55lbs and
when I started practicing 3 weeks ago it may as have been 100lbs. Could
only get off 1 shot every other day at best the first week.
Finnaly was able to shoot a good group of 3 in sucsession with excellent
results at 20 yards the day before yesterday. Shoulder and back muscles
finnally back in shape. Legs still a bit weak but have made walks upto 2K
in the last 2 weeks.
So the Keytara for the cancer is working fine :-)
Looks like I will be going turkey hunting this spring with my bow.
I'm a happy boy.
I realize you all don't the have a large oppertunity to hunt turkeys in AB
but I wanted let others with dissiblilities know there is hope, never give it
up.
