April 28th, what a difference a day makes, yesterday we got close to 10" snow.

No .... it's on hold, snowed here last night and more in the forecast for Friday/Saturday, we need some sun/heat with a good rain and most important wind.

May 8 ill be on SSR...friday ill be at travers.....depending how i do ...the weekend after (may long) ill be at sylvan on the 20th!!! or travers again...u wanna do a float tube on sylvan lets do it!!!

Sylvan opens on May 15, subject to the Lighthouse/Marina Bay/Norglenwold area restriction, I'm hoping to get out to RR23 or Sunbreaker before the May long crowd shows up.

Open July 1 to Oct. 31 and Dec. 11 to Mar. 31, That portion of lake southwest of a line drawn from the northwestern most tip of the landfill pier in Sylvan Lake Provincial Park located at NW 33-38-1-W5M due northwest to the point on the shoreline where the boundary between the town of Sylvan Lake and the Summer Village of Norglenwold meet the lake at NE 32-38-1-W5, including all tributary streams.

Tks Mr. Snap .... we got a good rain here last night and it's been raining on & off most of the afternoon, radar shows a few more showers headed our way, currently very little wind 9C/48F .... it should be gone by the weekend.

May 08th .... walked over to the golf course, didn't see any ice on the lake, looks like it's gone will have a closer look at the north end tomorrow & post a few more pics.

Lazy ... not me, golf course finally opened, played 18, walked 5.2 miles, shot 39/41-80, out again in the morning.

That said, the wind pushed some of the ice is back to the south end of the lake today.

Slowly disappearing ....

May 10th .... it looks like 80-90% of the ice is gone. This north wind pushed what's left towards the Norglenwold area and the main Townsite. Slowly coming to an end.
