How did everyone fare out there? What species did you target?

Poor moon phase this year, the Pike bite was on and off throughout the day.

We fished lake Nunya for some pike and was rather quiet though another boat went to the opposite end of the lake and had a big tub full. We then hit the river for the evening walleye bite and though no monsters we did catch several nice ones and Jack&7 pulled a 15 lb pike out after dark as well. Overall not a bad day for the first week of May. Got home home at 1:30 this morning and was bagged all day at work.

My granddaughter caught a 27 inch walleye and my son caught a 42 inch pike along with several other pike and walleye.

Lots of pike in the spawning bays, nothing really big but lots of fun and the spring bug hatch is full bore.
