Nicely done! Now you can just relax and not fish for the rest of the weekend....not! :)

Great Fish!!! Must have been hooked on the single jig hook judging by how demolished the swim bait is. Really fat and healthy looking for an early spring pike,,, makes me if she hasn't spawned out yet?

We caught a ton of 2-4 lb males that weren’t milting and water temps were 57F. That makes me think the spawn is done. She was in great shape though. Big belly.

The treble was laying in the net and the big single was pegged in the corner of her mouth. They were up in 3.5 feet of water.

Nice fish, So did the lure break or is that hook just suspended in the plastic like that?

It looks like the lead inside the body broke.

Nice pike

I have had a few wildeye’s fail at the bottom treble. Unfortunately the bottom treble is only cast into the soft lead weight instead of running the wire to the jig hook then casting the lead. Great lures except for the odd failure do to this weak point. Sad part is a simple adjustment in manufacturing and it would be solved

Beautiful Fish!

Terribly designed lure.

But so effective. It worked so well up north that if I was to use one again I would try and change the amount of hooks. Drop the treble completly or switch to a single.

I keep thinking something like this on Salmon could be interesting.

Swimbaits work well for coho

Looks like a Killer lure.
Similar to some basswood and silicone ones I have made.

Both hooks need to be harnessed to the mainline. A wire connecting the lead to the main shaft of the single hook is all that is needed to fix the design flaw.

The kid outdid me today with a 45” caught on a Storm GT360. Another healthy girl caught and released.
