I have a family reunion east of Bashaw next weekend. Any point of hauling the boat with me. All I know about Buffalo Lake is that its not very deep in most spots. I see you can accually keep a Pike there to.

Last couple years ice fishing, I would say I was catching around 5 pike to every burb. But the burbs are really nice sized. Around 4-7 lbs.

Just got back from there, we did alright. Caught a dozen pike roughly. Mostly 3 lb range but a decent one off the dock at ol macdonald campground around the 6lb mark. Didnt keep anything but you can keep one over 63cm in the main portion of the lake, no keepers from the narrows. Keep an eye on your depth, few shallow rocky spots.
