Soooo much to love about the new Lowrance. Brushless motor is HUGE - no interference on your sonars and WAY more power and battery life, much better steering design, super quiet, and the choice of built in 2in1 or 3in1 Active Imaging transducer. The anchor mode, heading lock, and cruise control should be awesome with basically a Precision 9 compass/GPS puck as the source. I can’t wait to see some more info and videos on how they integrate with the sonar units.

The problem is these are bass boat motors, 47” shafts and “cable” steer. I guess us walleye guys that want 72” shafts and remote electric steer have to wait for round two. Hopefully that doesn’t take too long, I want one next spring!!!!

This is exactly what minn kota needed....a kick in the rear end to get moving forward on their motors.

Competition is a great thing for us....some awesome new features coming out.

Nice!!! Thanks for links HuntsFurFish.
It is in my future for sure...at some point. Problem is I might spend more time screwing around with it than fishing :)

Also agree on the comment regarding competition for Minn Kota.
