kokanee in nakusp.

hey guys ill be heading up to the nakusp are in the west kootenays for a few nights of camping. looking at strictly targeting kokanee while in the area. as per fishing them, i have that pretty down pact been fishing for them for years. this is a new area for me and was wondering if any one had any hints or tips on how to locate them ? i know they are often in schools so any tips would be great.

I once saw a large school of them under the bridge just outside of town.

Not sure how to get down there or anything but a confluence is always a good spot to look.

I was at Nakusp last year, and spent some time at that very bridge watching the Kokanee spawn. Beautiful little fish.

They will be hanging out at the mouth of every stream. Troll past the stream mouths at about 30 to 40 feet down.
