Hey guys
Went to Travers Yesterday
Arrived around 2 PM
The fishing was slow, we tried the middle of the lake first
Caught 1 Pike for the first 2 Hours
Tried trolling all the way up to the Spillway coming from McGregor
Nothing not a bite till almost 8 PM
Most fish in the spillway area were young, some just short of the limit
Fishing was great till almost 10:30-11:00 PM, then finally died.
Next time I head there next week
Thinking of going to the deep end on the south side
Where the other spillway is, the deeper side of the lake I guess
Anyone have some luck around there???
Hoping to finally a good size walleye in this area.
Another Hotspot I been told lately in that lake area is around "The Fingers" Area. My buddy wasn't sure where it was, but me and him assumed there were Islands spaced out enough to create fingers. But i'm not to sure
Anyone else have a take on this???
Overall, was a good day of fishing after the Temperature starting going down, slow in the afternoon.
Look forward to trying again on Wednesday
