Does anybody know, are the same people in charge of shipping coyote hides to NAFA as there was before? I understand there have been some staff changes in the Edmonton store. Thanks.

Betty is there still but her husband has left or got let go so not sure how long she will be there.
She is awesome to work with and a real asset over there so hopefully she sticks around

Do they have a sorting table yet or does Betty still have you dump your pelts on the floor? I wasn't crazy about that the one time that I went there.

Dave they have a table to put your pelts on due to a request from Betty . They could use more like the ATA has .She wants other stuff done but I think the owner is slow or is not too concerned about changes/improvements to help her in the fur building . I know one thing they better get their act together over there or eventually they will lose Betty . Not impressed with the new help there either .

Why don’t people drive the 45 min to west lock an drop their fur off at the ATA store ? The store is owed by trappers an work for trappers. Halfords does nothing for the Trappers of Alberta. One of the big sources of income is the ATA depo. I drive five hours one way to support our organization, no just my fur anyone who wants me to deliver.

I travel about the same Rod. It’s my understanding that the ATA is working on setting up pick up locations for trappers. More to come I’m sure.

Wow! How much koolaide do you have to drink for this to make sense to you?

Why don't you just write the ATA a check and turn in your fur locally. That way you'd save yourself time and energy, money (depending on what you donate) and reduce your ever important carbon footprint?

Why drive an hour to drop off your fur and spend $20 in fuel when you can drive ten hours and spend $200 in fuel?

I’m flabbergasted.

It’s called a community. Not sure the exzac definition Dave I am sure you will look it up your a champ on the internet. It’s when a group of people with common interests work together an help each other. When I ship fur I don’t just take mine an my sons fur to Westlock it’s well known I will take others there as well, an I don’t charge them a dime. ( Dave’s mind is blowing up now!). Some trips I am not sure how I will get it all to fit. I have had the box full an the whole cab of the truck. The ATA depo is a great source of income for the association an I am proud to support them however I can.
