I sent my renewal in on August 29. My old one expires September 30 and I was worried that I waited too long and it wouldn't arrive in time. I went to work for 2 weeks and the new one was in the mailbox when I got home yesterday. It was processed on September 4 so with the long weekend I think that was pretty quick. I'm not sure how long it sat in the mailbox at the post office.
I was really impressed with the quick turnaround. I seem to remember the original application years ago took about 8 weeks to get back. So the online renewal was a nice surprise, and very quick and easy to do. Just went to the Walmart photo shop and they emailed the digital photo and it is easy to attach to the application. Never imagined it would be that quick and easy
