I'm trying to find a local place where I can get the stuff to pour my own plastics. Haven't had much luck and was just wondering if anyone else may know of a place to start.

Ive often thought about this . I think it would be rather easy , I guess one could always melt down all his old torn ones and give it a try . Then get the types you want lay them out and pour moulds and then have it so you just pour the molten plastic into the mould and it forms . Would be pretty easy actually.

If your in calgary, try Industrial Plastics, they would probably help ya out. Was in there for some fibreglass and gelcoat, and they seemed really helpful. Located close to chinook centre.

Cheers,
Alex

There was a company out of Calgary, AWAX plastics. They were a recycling company for milk jugs and such. They sold the plastics plant from Red Deer to a fellow in Medicine Hat. Can't give you a new name for that company, sorry. Another source would be NPI in Red Deer. They are on the north side of the river east of Gaetz Ave.

Thanks for the link Crib, that is the kinda stuff I'm looking for, just hoping to find it a little closer to home to avoid some of the hang ups.
