Looking to make some perch dropper rigs and I was curious, what do you guys like to use for the 'flash' part? Kastmasters seem popular. And what kind of dropper works best? Treble? Wide gap hook? Any particular size?

Here's a video from Lindy about dropper rigs

The Kastmasters are pretty popular for the flash, one of my favorite hooks in general actually. I also like the Northland Glo Shot and Buckshot spoons, they really dart out to the side when jigged.

For a dropper I usually use a single hook tungsten lure, sizes 10-12. If the dropper is too light I find it hard to detect the bite, especially when using a longer leader in between.

One of my favorite perch hooks is the Clam speed spoon with the chain dropper. Very cool design.

I use a small treble and tie/epoxy some wonky colours onto it. Although I think I might start using scud flies as droppers. It looks natural and would probably work great

i just use a small spoon and a store bought snap on stinger they come in 2" or 3" with small treble hook or single hook, pricey though like 4-5$ for 3.
