Central Sask. One of those lakes that people drive by to get to better fishing though!

Central Sask. One of those lakes that people drive by to get to better fishing though!

I have yet to try Saskatchewan and have done all my fishing in BC and Alberta. Saskatchewan’s big pike have my interest but may just keep heading east looking for musky.

Lots of awesome fishing that people drive by or never take the time to figure out.

I spent a lot of this year trying to get the kids out more.....so those are my highlights.
My lady....who can fish let me tell you.... was also able to knock a few things off her bucket list. Her first 40" pike which she landed solo on a 6' light rod with a 3/8oz jig on 10lb tackle.....and her first Dino (also a solo effort). Originally was supposed to be a tuna fishing charter to the oil rigs in New Orelans but the hurricanes rolling in forced a change of plans. Still was fun to go after red fish in the shallows.

That looks like a lot of fun. I’ve been wanting to try for reds one of these trips to Houston but just haven’t got around to it yet.
