Probly going to have to mail away my lx3 for repairs..anyone have to send their units away for repair before?if so how long it take?they good to deal with?

Buddy sent his to the service center in Winnipeg under warranty, got it back within a week.

I sent mine away last year. Got it back in about 10 days. They were great to deal with. Was outside the warranty date and all I had to pay for was shipping.

Yeah what's the issue? My VX-1 was doing all kinds of weird crap last year. Right before I was going to send it way I got the battery tested first. As it turned out I just needed a new one.

When I connect the terminals to the battery a constant ring tone starts,so not the typical single beep an then the unit Would fire up..

I had my lx9 sent in last month and had it back within 8 days, soldered a new resistor and installed a new jumper cable. It was cheap to get done.

Just pray its not your motherboard..... That was a $400 fix on my LX9

This is why I was hesitant to pull the trigger on an LX7. Ouch.
