Biggest of the day. 5 1/2 lbs pretty slow, managed 6 walleye 3 pike between 3 of us.

Good to see lots of perch in the lake though.

Yep it was super nice.
What was lacking in quantity was definitely made up by the quality of all the fish. Every fish was thick, heavy and healthy.

Yep, good thick ice with only 4” or so of snow cover. Beautiful day out there for sure.

Wouldn’t mind trying to target whites out there if I could find em.

Never got a sniff all sag flags didn’t move. Fished all my usual spots last 2 days and it was pretty dead. Not sure what’s going on with this lake. Same spots 4 to 5 years back get 40 flags a day and some real nice northerns !!! :mad0030:

Really? We were back out today and had a similar day to as the last. Just over half dozen walleyes, all over 4lbs. And a few jack in the 70cm range.

That’s not even really that great of fishing. Compared to 4 to 5 years ago. A guy would get 30 fish and lots of real big ones.

Yeah definitely not non stop action, but all the fish have looked extremely healthy, definitely no shortage of perch to feed on.

Saw perch on camera yesterday. First time ever seeing perch in La Biche....not huge but nice to see. Deep water 30’ +

Yep, we seen them mid day in 28 feet. Lots in the 6-9” range and the odd bigger one.
