For those that have fished the NSR for many years, I'm interested in your view on the trend in number and size of fish you're catching. Increasing? Decreasing? No change?

I think every species of fish has decreased! I have been fishing the nsr for about 20yrs and many years ago is was quite common to catch some kind of fish with just about every cast you put in the water. Just my opinion though!

I agree Buckmaster I've been fishing that river for 25 yrs now and the fishing isn't half as good as it used to be.

I've been catching more mooneye than goldeye and the mooneye are large. All the goldeye seem to be 1.5-2 pounders.

I'm finding sturgeon to be way up ( even catching alot more juveniles), Goldeye down a bit, and walleye down in some hole, and up in others...
