It appears that consigned furs can be returned to trappers or NAFA may still move them to auction. Net proceeds would then go to trapper.

It is 100% impractical to return part lotted goods. Thats another name for trapper goods, the stuff that is intersorted. Full lotted goods such as dealer goods offered as full lot goods are returnable.

Intersorted stuff will be sold no doubt and appears the hunter/trapper and dealers with such goods should receive monies for??? But who knows how much... perhaps Deloitte will take a cut? I haveno idea how it will shake out.

Safest bet...

Expect nothing. If you get something someday, lucky for you.

Sounds like they're in negotiations with fha to hold their auction in their Toronto facility in March and include whatever nafa has on hand in exchange. Actually it says fha has agreed to have it there from March 24 to 31 and help poor nafa out. And they're still working out the fine print of the sale.

“The full amount of the bank debt will not likely be paid until after the June auctions (ie., a lot of goods have been slated for this sale period) but from that time on, NAFA should be starting to collect money that can go to helping to satisfy other creditor claims.”

This is what it says in the letter.

Wonder how many times FHA will have to auction my fox that have been at nafa for 2 years if they get the go ahead to hold nafa stock at their auctions.
Not that I’m expecting anything just thought it was an interesting read.

I’d almost rather they send my fox back as since then I’ve started tanning them.

Appears large specific trapper lots may be sent back, any pelts graded and in large lots will be auctioned and proceeds sent back to trapper.
