Grading Fur

I posted this 10 years ago and think it is still relevant today. A long read but it is broken down into each furbearer. Thought some newer trappers might be interested in an important factor in trapping. Grading your fur decides how much you make from your fur. If you are selling direct to fur buyers you can better judge what pelts are worth. This was written by a fur grader in the 1960's. As far as grading very little has changed. Enjoy.
