Does anyone know if Keephills allows small one man pontoons and float tubes? Planning on going today but don't want to pack the boat if it's all shore casting.

Thank you.

I didn't believe they allowed fishing there...

Has something changed?

You are allowed to fish at Keephills. Just be mind=full there is a farmer that owns land going down to the water. He is a nice guy as long as you pick your garbage and don't bother his cattle.Close the gate behind you . He usually stops by and talks. Secondly the plant wont stop you but doesn't like people in boats on the water. The under tow is super strong and extremely dangerous. A person could drown there very easily. That's the plants biggest concern. Be careful . Be safe a lot of the bank is falling into the reservoir.

Interesting thread, I didn't realize we could fish at the Keephills pond/lake. What's in there? I assume pike, perch??

Pike. Lots and lots of little pike.

To be fair there are no fishing signs everywhere but I guess they aren't enforcing.
