I heard on the news, in Quebec and now in Alberta today March 31, they are trying a drug to stop covid 19 from spreading, great news if this works.

It’s been proven to be VERY helpful. It certainly can’t hurt. If youre diagnosed with covid, wouldn’t you want to take it????

I think I'd pass on inhaling a disinfectant deep into my lungs.

Definitely not without knowing side effects, take a drug that may stop Covid only to get some terminal or life altering complication down the road, not for this cat. I’ll take the Covid and I am immune compromised.

I wouldn’t be self medicating... look what happened in Arizona. The reason the malaria drugs are working is they slow down the immune system if it’s in overdrive attacking the lungs and liver. Covid causes this response in many people that it takes, kicks their immune system into overdrive and that’s why the immunosuppressant drugs that many already take are helping people out. Unfortunately those already taking the drug might have to deal with a shortage, but it becomes a life or limb scenario.

Hmm let's give it to alberta and quebec and see what happens, Trudeaus two biggest headaches...sounds suspicious.

I've been on hydroxychloroquine for quite a while. In combination with other meds, it's been good in preventing Lupus flare-ups, but didn't prevent me from catching a wicked flu in early January. But so far, I've been stayed clear of Covid-19, although I don't know if it's the hydroxychloroquine, or practicing self-isolation, or a combination of the 2.

Hydroxichloroquine was FDA approved in 1955 and has been proven to be safe

Don’t smoke pot. It can kill you during this outbreak. The lungs are negatively impacted and could end up being deadly.

To be clear ... at the correct dose. At a certain dose it is deadly and has killed people trying to self medicate during this outbreak.

Inhaling something that will irritate the lungs prior to being infected with Covid or while infected will be the way society weeds itself of people who don’t think and believe everything they see on the Internet.

Remember...oils in vape has killed. Spraying alcohol laced anything into your lungs is bad. Vaping, smoking cigs or cigars or pot will all be unwise prior to recovering from Covid.

If you’re a closet drinker then the best of both worlds. A hobby and social distancing.

Respiratory flu. I'm pretty sure I caught it from someone on the plane heading down to Cancun in early January- symptoms started showing up 2 1/2 days later. Weakness, severe congestion, sore throat, short of breath - morphed into pneumonia after I got home 2 weeks later.

How many actually read the article?

The institute, known by its French acronym INESSS, recommends only using chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine on a case-by-case basis for COVID-19 patients whose symptoms are more severe — such as those in intensive care.

Some studies have shown that the drugs have antiviral capabilities.

"The uncertainty surrounding the efficacy and safety of these treatments does not support the widespread use of chloroquine or hydroxychloroquine, regardless of the stage of the disease,"
