Hard to believe that it is only 4 weeks to morel season. I saw these grow kits that can produce up to 65 lbs. of morels in the first season. Only a few kits available. You only need a 12 x 12 area in a forest.

I sure hope I'm able to go picking morels this spring.

That’s pretty interesting. I always thought they were almost impossible to grow. There’s a guy in Quebec whose got truffles to grow ...now that would be a worthy enterprise.

Looks like we are headed for a bumper crop up here. I expect literally tons of Morels to come out of the Manning/High Level area this spring, if we are not in quarantine.

If we are, there will certainly be more then the locals can pick.

Last year I filled an ice-cream pail full in about half an hour, on the first day of picking.

I'll be picking again this year but not for myself. I tried them last year and didn't much care for them. Should be some good picking around Slave lake again this year and probably a few other places as well. I didn't keep track of where all the big fires were.

From Wisconsin, doubt it will be able to import.
At ease disease, there’s fungus among us, ha.
