Polaris discontinuing Larson FX, Striper, and Rinker boat brands.

Polaris announced yesterday that they are discontinuing the Larson FX, Rinker, and Striper boat brands effective immediately. They say that they will still cover warranties and supply parts, but I suspect it will be like Victory bikes.

Seems odd they would purchase those companies is 2019 just to shut em down ,unless it was just an opportunity to eliminate completion ?

I suspect they bought them because the economy (especially the US) was doing great and they thought they could expand sales. Now the lockdown is upon us and no one is buying boats so they are forced to cut costs wherever they can. It's a shame as striper boats are some of the nicest bay/nearshore boats I have seen.
