FISHING AROUND cALGARY

Hello all,

Is there any fishing allowed around Calgary ? I am confused with all Covid-19 regulation.
Also is there any open water or it is still Ice out there ?
Looking to take the kids out for a fresh air..

Obey social distancing laws and go fishing. Provincial parks are closed though. I don’t live that far south to say anything about conditions. Read the regs and check what is open for fishing for starters

The bow is about your only option at the moment. Everything else is either closed or still ice covered

I drove to the Glenmore reservoir yesterday, not open to fishing till May 1st, only a very small area near the shore was open water and had geese swimming. Hopefully ice free soon.
