Yep, real dumb title, but I couldn't think of how else to summarise my question. At what point do coldwater species become prevailent, Fox Creek? Further upstream? I've only fished it downstream of Valleyview, would like to fish further up and am wondering what to expect. Thanks.

I've caught small jackfish right up to the huckleberry tower area, but from there down to fox creek area primarily mountain whites and grayling.

Going downstream from the 1st bridge of the river it starts to transition to walleye and pike. I would say anything upstream of the 1st bridge is grayling, bull trout and rockies water. I have floated a few times up and down of the 1st bridge and this is what I see. The 1st day of floating downstream from the 1st bridge I have never caught much of anything. Transition water
