insane on the river, at least sucker wise. I couldnt put a worm out without a bite in the first few minutes. I didnt keep track of the numbers, somewhere between 20 and 30 I guess, I even had to take my line out to eat a quick bowl of chili! These are big females, I caught a lot over 10 pounds today and one quite a bit bigger, all battlescarred. Had a raggy piece of worm left after a sucker, and was worried if my truck would start when I got back to it so I gave it one last cast to let the fish clean off the hook. And of course caught a sturgeon. just a feisty 36 incher but sure nice to see . Ive caught a ton of huge silver redhorse before, but some of the ones today had me totally convinced there were sturgeon they hit so hard it was awesome!
