I noticed excess resistence on retrieve yesterday and and on further inspection found a a sharp chip on the last guide of my rod. Anybody have experience filling or sanding out the chip?

Don't have ability to take a pic right now but will add latter.

not sure what the pro's do but a little emery cloth to smoothen it out and a dab of clear nail polish will do the trick.

I remove chipped guides and replace them. I hold the new one in place with wound cord and epoxy.

I had to file the tip eyelet on my baitcasting tigerrod a couple times the big dinos tend to saw through it with 80 ppound braid. worked a couple times but all the guides need replacing now. not a problem I mind, wearing them out was pretty awesome!
