Muskiki Lake was a wow factor yesterday
like glass in morning
the Loon's were challenging me with every call
Osprey's looking for nesting site as theirs fell down
even the eagle flew by
had lake to myself
solo trip
fun & food for my soul

Gorgeous fish. Good on you for gathering up the trash as I assume you did.
What is it about people who drink awful beer that makes them also leave a ton of garbage? Not a week ago I picked up a pile as well and there were Black Ice cans in the mix.

Very nice ! I see they won't be stocking any cut throat in 2020 .
Thanks David, hoping to get onto the lake soon also.

Nice! The forestry trunk must have been a soupy mess. I'm impressed you did it and solo.

i went when the dust was flying .. thanks for solo comment u do it too lol
i took the Robb road from Hinton then at 33km took the Pembina River road
km 99 is Muskiki lake
the Robb road was great (80km).. PR road was great to 65km(80km)
from 65km on use the side of road as pot hole in middle of road(60km)
I have a truck wheels trailer which is easier on dirt/gravel roads
it was about a 1 1/2 hr drive to lake

Then it is a mess now I imagine. :)
I've lost more trailer parts and straps on that stretch than I can count.
