Transducer mount plate

Got a new Lowrance hook2 4x fish finder for the Lund. Mounted a piece of Poly plastic trim I found laying around. Used JB Marine weld to glue on to hull. No screws in the boat. Pretty happy way turned out.

Cool. How far below the bottom of your boat is the bottom of your transducer? Just wondering I got a Lowrance 9 sideimage type transducer it had to be literally a mm or 2 below the hull for everything to work. Adjustability on your bracket is key to getting it dialed in and reading depth when on plane. Nice to do it yerself and save money.

So we had it out on Spray on the weekend but it was to high and wrong spit on boat so it didnt read while moving, so basically a bit lower than the bottom of the boat. See what happens
