Have fun say hi to brett for me. He will point you in the right direction. If John Wolters Is around he knows that lake inside and out. We were supposed to be there Friday to Monday this week but changed our minds as we had planned to bring our older dads. You will catch fish and big ones. Cheers Wade:)

Never been there for open water, but mckenzie point on the big lake is a good spot for lake trout. We've also got real nice pike on little athapap not to far north/west of the narrows.

Be careful if you're going out on the lake without a guide or someone that knows the lake for the first time. Lots of narrow channels and rockyness.

If you want big trout , big bait on bottom , we always stayed around the 100ft mark even in early June. Areas down the point as mentioned produced most of our big fish. 5/8 or 3/4 jig with a 6-8” piece of sucker. Less movement the better, chum lots to bring them in and keep them there.
