Lake water quality?

Good day,
Hoping someone can give me some information on the water quality in the lakes north of Edmonton this year?
Especially Winagami, Lesser Slave, and Snipe.
Taking the family camping for a few days to Winagami, and I'm wondering if the kids can swim, or if the algae bloom is too severe.
If anyone's been to Winagami lately, how's the conditions around the breakwater with all this rain?
How's the fishing?
Any input is greatly appreciated.
This'll be the first camping vacation we've taken in over 6 years.

Call 310-0000 and ask to speak to the F&W office in Slave lake. A CO might better advise you about the local lakes conditions.
