I'm looking for tips for catching Whitefish during the summer, specifically from shore. We're going to Winagami, and will be fishing from the Breakwater.
I've seen enormous whites floating that summer killed there in previous years, and I'd really like to try catching some.
Caught lots through the ice, but never in open water..
Any direction is appreciated.
