If it’s 75-1/4, it’s a keeper :)

I haven’t figured out the pic posting here either don’t apologize.
Not sure your reason to keep, but if for eating most places I fish trout I personally think maybe 11 pounds and less taste the best.

Now that I have had some sleep and coffee, here is a pic of the tail where it may or may not be 75cm?

Agreed. That being said I like them to be solidly over so I don't have to deal with an overzealous F&W interpretation.

That is where we were. One CO might have high fived us and the next could have pulled out the ticket book. Its back in the lake.

The Stump Rancher Poet of Hoadley, Alberta, (Werner Dorch) used to say you can't tell much from a little piece of tail.

Now I understand what he meant!!!!

But seriously, its a goal as long as the nose is square on the board and not short. Since you did not show the whole picture, all we really have here is ....

(wait for it!)

a little piece of tail.

HAHA yep and it was a slimy piece of tail I tell ya! Trust me the nose was against the end as we were trying to make sure it would pass CO inspection.

Nice tail.

Next time take and break the fishes spine in several places and then pull from each end. Should get an extra 1/2 inch out of it. :sHa_sarcasticlol::sHa_shakeshout:
