Well after two full days on the water with the yak it was time to change it up and get back to quality time spent with others....others you say...yup my lab of 14yrs and the ol'girl of too many years to remember:)
Wind was stout from the north east but the little tinner just had to get over to the leeward side of garnet beach so off we went....yup got a little wet...had a few laughs too along the way...
On the water for 3 hrs ish….landed 14, lost a few, lots of pokes, lost a double header too....the bite was slow...I was impatient and kept changing but I tell ya we had a stint of overcast and then all heck broke loose...
I ended up settling on the standard presentation of pink lady, willow leaf but I put on a apex trolling lure 4" brown trout and wife ran the same set up but with a 4" rainbow trout...
Even a slow day is fun.:)

Oh and the lakers got a few lab kisses on their way in so if you catch a laker that smells like dog breath you will know why...:confused:
