Good morning all.

After much looking, curious on recommendations for a good waterproof flashlight, on the smaller end hopefully as will go in the pack. Trying to keep it around $150 ish.

Thank you

Go look at fenix online. They are all waterproof and my pick would be a tk22 v2 or a pd40v2. Then buy a battery charger off eBay and some orbtronic 21700 batteries from orbtronic.

I run a 9 year old tk22 on 18650 batteries and my last set of batteries lasted me 7 years and several hundred (thousands?) cycles. For a $15 battery you can’t go wrong.
I’m tempted to upgrade the torch myself. Last night one of my drillers bought the pd40 so I’ll wait a week to see how good that 3,000 lumens really is before I spend some money. Here’s a review for that light.

The charger will run you about $20-25 on the big auction site. I’ve been using a nitecore intellacharger charger for ten years and it’s topping up some 18650’s behind me as I type.

X2 for Fenix. Have a couple of them, the smaller EDC type. Get daily use of some sort, have always worked great (and are waterproof) and less expensive than Surefire and such.

For a small AAA or AA flashlight I had a few Fenix lights. They are good lights but not enough for the price of them.

Been using an Olight I3T or Olight I5T to keep in the pocket lately. They have worked just as well as the Fenix (and the pocket clip is far better) for a fraction of the cost.
