Pine Lake

Just wondering if anyone has been out to Pine Lake recently? How's the fishing? Is there a decent boat launch? How's the Sunday boat traffic? We were out at Gull on the long weekend it was crazy busy and the fishing was really slow. Thanks for any input.

I was there about a week and a half ago. The public launch at the north end of the lake has an uneven drop off at the end and that made it very difficult to get my boat on straight. I'll go elsewhere next time. I haven't been to Scotty's for a long time but I remember it being decent but there will be a charge. The fishing was a bit slow as the day was hot and the skiers were everywhere but I caught a very decent Walleye and a couple of pike. We had to go early just as the bite started because the gates at the public launch close at 10 PM. Fish early and late to avoid the traffic.

Haven't gone there in the summer in a few years. Heard it was weedy as can be.
