Back Country Brookies

Well it is the fall and the best time of year to be in the back country. Sometimes the mission into back country brookie lakes is the best part of the trip, other times its the fishing and when you time it just right it's both. Got lucky and had a picture perfect back country brookie adventure and had every lake to ourselves. Tough to beat a fall brookie, prettiest fish in the sea IMO. Sometimes I wonder why I even bother coming back to the city......
