Ya Ha Tinda Fishing

I'm headin up to Ya Ha Tinda thursday night for the weekend. Was wondering if anyone could point me in the general direction of some decent fishing spots. We will be on horseback, so anywhere is a possibility.

Head into Eagle Lakes, about a 3 mile ride.

Bit of a ride, but Dormer lake. Somebody told me there are fish in the pool at the bottom of the Bighorn falls. Ice lake. Kids caught fish out of the Red Deer river.

Dont go to eagle lakes if you are planning on finding a spot you will be alone.. we have the grazing lease east of eagle lakes and there are always quadders and fishermen in the west lake.

I have had decent luck down stream on the Red Deer river. The holes on the river always shift with the spring floods.
