I was out at Pigeon today and had a horrible day. 3 people in the boat and only 15 fish in 5 hours. Last week i had 87 with 2 people in 6.5hrs. Did anyone else have similar issues this weekend?

i dont really go to pigeon anymore, catching piles of small fish gets boring after a while. were you just jigging with shiners? how was the weather? maybe i can help you out. fishing gets tougher this time of year anyhow.

We were out Saturday, went through 5 tubs of minnows and 150-200 fish easy, lost count in the first hour we were there, lol. Will post a full report in a new thread.

I had that last week as well on saturday but i kept count and only went through 3.5 tubs of minnows. Thats why i went and bought tags.

We have tags for newell this year. Tags for 43-50 cm would have been easy to fill, but lots of fish over that. 43 cm and under would have been tough, while we didn't measure all fish we probably only caught 2 or 3 under 43.

My Gf got one keeper just under 43 so not a bad fish. LAst week i would have had 1 in 10 that was a keeper but i could not find the fish on sunday. There are alot of fish over 50cm in there i measured all of the fish we caught with out taking them out with my home made stick and found that most are 45-55cm
