Lac la biche mystic beach

I was wondering if their is access to the lake for the public here. Also what are the ice conditions arround current iland. Just wondering if it is drivable with a half ton or not and if their is current arround that iland.

No there isn’t any current around currant island. Ice should be good to drive like anywhere else in area its mid January.

I was out on the south side a few days ago near lac la biche mission. 18” and many trucks on the ice.

Be very careful around the islands the island to the south still had open water a week ago and there are a few sandbars by the islands as well as the mouth of the river that usually has significantly less ice then the rest of the lake.

Go on at Golden sands boat launch. Big pressure ridge out front. Go to
The right takes you to mystic beach. I heard the big ice heave flattens out after awhile.
