A guy on one of my woodworking forums made this jitterbug. The hooks are real. Mustad 20/0 size. Looking forward to trying one out! :)

I was about to say Moby Dick, but orcas would work as well!

Oddly, I've caught all of my personal bests on small lures/bait

I would happily drag that around behind the boat for a teaser. It looks like it would raise billfish like a magnet. It would have horrible hookup rates like it is and they would throw it pretty easy so I would knock the hooks off and just drag it on 10m of paracord. Let them come in and bill it then switch them onto a small tuna, gar or slimy mackerel with a circle hook.

I only had a 14ft fiberglass boat so I haven't tried this one yet. I thought I'd have to be planted a bit better incase mr big fish starts pulling us backwards.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20210110/c64aa06d1b3360458f17c62c7732e9b0.jpg

I have caught many 9"-10" pike on big lures like a 7" drifter musky crankbait. Pike eating something almost the same size as they are ..... crazy buggers.

Seeing as this looks to be roughly 24" long - it should attract a 30" Pike.

lol.

So what test strength "cable" would you run with that amazing lure?

Now I have an inferiority complex 'cause the musky lures I make are only 14".
