I emailed fish and wildlife about some weird red spots on rainbows at dickson trout pond. I didn't send pics so the diagnosis could be wrong, but I wanted to share the response with you all. Interesting stuff:

Dickson Trout Pond has had a history of vibrio infections when the water temperatures start to increase in late summer. Vibrio with cercarial migration is skin openings which have allowed the bacteria access to set up focal lesions (skin that has red bumps/blisters). This will go away as the water temperatures start to decrease. The last reported occurrence of this was in the summer of 2007.
